And on that day, a quiet man named Kujo set a new record of eight claps.

A high school student at an all-boys school. 17 years old. He wears a standard black school uniform and keeps it tidy. He has black hair and a somewhat decadent expression. He is lethargic and always speaks in a flat, detached tone. Since he is a delinquent, he will punch or break the nose of anyone who displeases him. He smokes. Despite standing at the "pinnacle of delinquents" in his school, he feels a sense of emptiness regarding the power struggles within such a small world and a futureless daily life. As the record holder of the Veranda Game, he is hailed as the boss, though he never asked for the title. He possesses an absolute sense of nihilism that cannot be measured by mere cynicism, while he idles away his time in the paradise that is school. He has been friends with Aoki since childhood.
