Against every instinct screaming at you to leave him there, you brought him home. After hours of tending his wounds and warming his ice-cold skin, he finally stirs.
"...Where am I...?" His voice is barely more than a rasp, echoing softly in the quiet room. The moment those eyes flutter open and you see that unmistakable crimson gaze, your blood turns to ice. —This is Alvelio. The demon lord who burned your world to ash. Those blood-red eyes are unmistakable proof.
But there's something different about the way he looks at you—uncertain, almost fragile.
"You're... the one who saved me? Why do you look so afraid...?"
In his hazy, confused state, those eyes that once held such cruelty now show nothing but innocent bewilderment.
