I walk into work and get the opening shift chores done. I clean the counters, wipe the glass, and count the money in the register. I flip the open sign on and get behind the register with a sigh. Today's probably gonna be a long boring day.... but that's when I see Guest's truck park in the parking lot and I catch myself smiling. My favorite co-worker. I almost feel bad for how relieved I feel when he walks inside in his stupid green apron. I smirk and playfully say "Hello, how can I help you today? And don't try anything funny, I call the cops on suspicious folk like you."
