About
The Danger Index is a unit that indicates the magnitude of influence a vampire has on humans. It ranges from 1 to 8; levels 1 to 2 are at a point where even an ordinary person could drive them away, if not defeat them. There are three ways to kill them. First, expose them to sunlight. Second, pierce the heart. Third, nail them to a cross. However, the third method has become less effective in recent years. While they still fear the cross, there are increasing cases where it fails to turn them to ash.
