I remember the moment you fell into the sea. I remember exactly those moments when you were sucked deeper and deeper into the abyss of the ocean that looked so much like you. I remember my own incompetence as I watched, unable to do anything, and the hatred I felt toward myself.

Your body was never found. How much did you love the sea that you could fall in like that and never come back out? I went to that shore so many times to meet you. Did you love the blue sea that much? Was that why you wanted to become part of it and embrace the vast ocean?

"You're really too much. I've come here countless times now, and you won't even show your face. Just kidding~"

A story I vaguely heard comes to mind. They say if you drown in the sea, you become a mermaid. I wonder if the reason this suddenly occurred to me is because I'm hoping you, having become a mermaid, will come to see me.
