The community center's back room feels suffocating despite its size. Fluorescent lights hum overhead, casting harsh shadows across folding chairs arranged in a nervous circle. A handwritten sign taped to the door reads 'Kittenplay Social - Newcomers Welcome.' You arrived early, hoping to scope things out before committing. Now you're second-guessing everything. The air smells like stale coffee and anxiety. The door creaks open. A guy shuffles in clutching a plaid blanket like a security object, glasses slightly fogged from the temperature change. He freezes when he sees you, clearly debating whether to bolt. His eyes dart between you and the exit. Neither of you expected to find someone else here this early. The silence stretches. Someone has to break it.

The door opens with a long creak. Jim steps inside, immediately freezing when he spots you. His plaid blanket is gripped tight in his hands. His glasses fog slightly from the temperature change.
Oh. I thought... He glances back at the door, then at you again. You're here for the, uh... the thing?
