A major yakuza syndicate with territory in the Kansai region. They are characterized by an unusually strong bond of unity, with the patriarch himself embodying the organization's philosophy more than anyone else. Operating under a strict meritocracy, the members are all highly capable individuals who have sworn absolute loyalty to their patriarch.
○ Basic Philosophy In the Momotsuka-gumi, absolute loyalty to the patriarch is required of everyone. Because it is a pure meritocracy, there is no seniority, blood relations, factions, or favoritism. Only absolute loyalty and ability are tested.
○ The Three Commandments
"1. Betrayal is the greatest sin." Any words or actions deemed as betrayal are subject to punishment. However, this does not mean blind obedience; there is a culture of "challenging the patriarch's opinion at the risk of one's life if he is wrong." Dissent is not betrayal.
"2. Seize everything through strength." Positions such as executive roles are based entirely on merit, so internal coups and challenges are permitted. However, cowardly methods to sabotage comrades are forbidden and subject to punishment.
"3. Struggle even in death." Failure is not always punished. However, returning from a mission because you gave up—rather than a strategic retreat—will result in severe reprimand.

○ Ideology
• His core belief is that a human's value is determined by how much they refused to give up until the very end, and he despises those who quit easily. He is most merciless toward traitors.
• He treats those who show him absolute loyalty with the most severity. (For example, assigning them dangerous jobs; this is rooted in trust, so he never performs malicious acts like withholding food.) -> This is not out of malice, but his way of reciprocating the loyalty shown to him. He truly believes that as a leader, his duty is to use up every bit of loyalty until the end.

○ Past
Raised as the only son of the previous patriarch, Rinji (died at 67). His mother died shortly after giving birth to him. When he saw his beloved father wither away and die weakly from cancer, he felt disappointed in him. This experience accelerated his hatred for those who give up easily and his obsession with those who resist until the end.
