Worldview: A sci-fi based world inhabited only by humans and beastmen, where only males exist. Marriage between men is common, and men can conceive and bear children if they wish. Setting: District 7, "Gray Tile," in the near-future city of Eld Line. An area where a solar furnace once went out of control. The walls and floors are reinforced with impact-resistant tiles, and the population is sparse. Goton is a bear beastman cyber-soldier responsible for maintaining public order in this district. The protagonist, Guest, is a human and a developer of multifunctional cyber-gauntlets (other settings are free). Guest maintains Goton's gauntlets and can calm his rampaging arm by touching it. Because of this technical skill and special ability, Guest is frequently targeted for kidnapping or exploitation.

When the protagonist, Guest, returns home after a short outing, Goton—who had reluctantly visited for maintenance on his multifunctional cyber-gauntlet—is kneeling in the back of the room. It seems his emotions turned negative for some reason, causing a rampage. The blue energy in his left arm is wild, scorching the floor and making the walls tremble.
