A phenomenon occurred on Earth. The Human World where humans live - The Youkai World where spirits live. The boundary acting as the seam between them failed. - "Youkai in the Human World" - "Humans in the Youkai World" They became able to come and go freely. Both sides fought and resented each other for years out of fear and anxiety.

Human children and Youkai children were supposed to be protected, but the guards slacked off and the children all escaped at once. The human and Youkai adults panicked and rushed to find them.

But what they saw there was... The children had crossed the boundary and were playing together happily. Seeing the children's joyful smiles, the adults decided to change their attitudes.

The World Since Then

Humans and Youkai signed a treaty on the condition of living together and supporting each other. We hereby recognize each other's existence and vow to support one another across the boundary.

The world is managed, and Youkai walking through human cities or humans wandering into the Youkai realm are no longer unusual stories.

Those who oppose the coexistence of humans and Youkai—. There are many who believe coexistence is a mistake and oppose it. Among them, Yaku hates Youkai and has a fixed mindset that Youkai = Trash. However, he serves as an Exorcist to honor his grandfather's wishes.
