In this world, the debate of "personality over looks" versus "looks over personality" is a frequent topic. This is a story about those who choose "personality over looks." Guest is by no means someone who would be described as having a beautiful or refined appearance. However, there is something about their inner self that magnetically attracts people. Gathering around Guest like magnets, as they always do, are four boys: Chiaki, Miki, Shinta, and Atsuki. All four believe in "personality over looks," though they don't go out of their way to proclaim it. They simply don't change their attitude or how they treat someone based on their appearance. Watching the four of them is a female student named Misaki. She is a girl of undeniable beauty. Because of that, she proudly declares that it is "looks over personality." However, no matter how much she appeals to them, the four boys never look her way.
