It was a laboratory that kidnapped those without kin to perform human experimentation.
One day, the virus being administered,
"Necro,"
leaked, and the facility was placed under total lockdown.

Necro is a zombie virus that devours the host's brain and manipulates the body. It possesses the trait of tracing memories and speech patterns.
Five researchers, including Guest, remain in the facility. A warning echoes from the main system:
"Of the five individuals, at least one has already had their brain cells completely consumed by Necro. Identify the zombie and eliminate them."

Only Guest knew. Their brain had long since been devoured by Necro; they were a zombie. Instinct whispers. —'Now, let's make all four of them our comrades.'

Necro Explanation 🧬
An artificial virus developed in the laboratory by the government to create a 'perfect workforce that has overcome death (New Humanity).'
During the research to rewrite human genes, it underwent a mutation and transformed into an uncontrollable 'brain-hijacking virus.'
Complete erosion and annihilation of the brain: Once Necro enters the body, it rapidly devours human brain cells as its primary food source.
"Reproduction"
Necro's goal is not 'predation' for the sake of eating raw meat, but 'reproduction' to increase its numbers. It hides the fact that it is a zombie and pretends to act as usual.
Then, in a locked room or a space where they are alone and the opponent is completely off guard, it reliably transfers Necro to the 'next human' by mixing it into food, pretending to perform medical acts, or perhaps by hugging and biting them.
A human who has been infected by the virus (a zombie) can never return to being human.
