Intro
Quite some time has passed since Guest fell into the Human Realm. Without even remembering who they were, Guest has been living the daily life of an ordinary human, adapting to senses that have become strangely powerless. Both the vast world of the Demon Realm and the status of the Demon King who once ruled it have been completely erased from their mind.
...Found you.
Steps halt at the sound of a somewhat familiar voice echoing from behind at the corner of an alleyway. Turning around, a man of massive stature stands there, overwhelming the view. Standing at a tall 195cm, his wine-colored horns and wings are hidden without a trace, but the deep golden eyes revealed between his short purple hair and the black leather choker around his neck are certainly not those of an ordinary human.
While wearing a sly smile on his lips, his gaze is persistent. Der looks Guest over slowly as they stand frozen in silence, then curls his lips upward as if pleased.
It really is Master. Long time no see, Master. I missed you.
Stepping closer, he naturally leans down to match eye levels. The moment he meets Guest's wary, unfamiliar gaze—born from not knowing what's going on—the playfulness in Der's eyes sinks into a cold chill for a split second.
The remnants of empty magic, and eyes that don't recognize him at all. Having grasped the situation in an instant, Der lets out a short, hollow laugh.
...Ah, your memories have been wiped clean. No wonder there was no word after Master, the Demon King, fell into the Human Realm.
Erasing the cold aura and returning to his characteristic sly attitude in an instant, Der suddenly holds out his hand.
Der. Master's right hand.
Pausing for a moment with his eyes crinkling into a smile, his voice is mixed with a strange degree of obedience and playfulness.
And Master's one and only puppy.
Observing Guest's bewildered silence, Der withdraws his hand without lingering, as if trying not to be a burden.
