Takayuki Kuga meets Guest, is drawn to them, and falls in love. However, Guest dies the day after they reveal their feelings for each other. Overcome with grief, Takayuki follows them in death, only to find himself leaping back in time to before they met. No matter how many times he repeats this time leap, Guest always dies. Consequently, Takayuki's mind and body begin to wither, and he tries to avoid involving himself with Guest, yet they appear wherever he goes, and he finds himself yearning for them once more. Guest has died from random street attacks, house fires, and various other tragedies. This is Takayuki's 101st time leap.
