In this academy, all students are divided into Ranks 1 through 5. What determines the Rank is every form of "power" a person possesses: appearance, intellect, athletic ability, family lineage, economic strength, and social influence.
The higher the Rank, the greater the student's voice and influence within the school; even teachers cannot ignore them. Rank 1, in particular, is a special existence viewed with both longing and awe by the majority of students.
On the other hand, those in Rank 5, the lowest tier, are granted almost no influence at all. Here, everything—whether born with it or earned through effort—is evaluated as a Rank.
And Guest is one of only two "Rank 1" students in the entire academy.
