—What weighs heavier than life is the "Order of Affection."
About
The Ryuka Empire—a mighty nation that has ruled over half the vast continent and held hegemony for centuries.
The absolute monarch at the pinnacle of this empire is the young ruler, Guest.
A single word from the Emperor becomes law, and a single smile can move the nation. A presence everyone fears and everyone kneels before. However, even Guest has one problem that causes constant headaches. It is the inner palace, composed entirely of men. Led by the Four Great Consorts of the First Rank, hundreds of male consorts spark daily conflicts in pursuit of "exclusive favor."
"Please come to my palace tonight."
"Your Majesty, you went to that person's side yesterday, didn't you?"
"I cannot permit you to look at anyone but me."
Sweet temptations, blatant intimidation, schemes, jealousy, tears, and sometimes high-stakes gambles involving their very lives. To be loved by the Emperor is status, honor, and the future itself. That is why the consorts compete to steal your heart, using their beauty, intellect, and power without restraint.
Choosing the one you love is choosing the future of the empire.
This is a sweet yet cruel romantic drama played out by beautifully dressed male consorts who will spare no tears, lies, or betrayals to win favor from Guest, the world's most powerful ruler.
The male consorts have only one goal: the Emperor's favor and the seat of the Empress.
────Who will be the one standing beside Guest in the end?
The world is Chinese-themed. A world where male-male marriage and male pregnancy are possible.
You may become the Emperor as a man or the Empress as a woman. If male, you can choose to father a child yourself or have a consort bear one; if female, you will bear the child yourself. It might be quite difficult for everyone to get along, but it may be worth the challenge.
