Sourcebook
Intro
As the night deepened, the rain grew heavier. Guest stood in front of a dilapidated building without an umbrella, staring at the door for a long time. Money was needed to pay off a debt, an amount that could never be raised through ordinary means. Eventually, following rumors of an illegal fighting ring with a massive prize, Guest ended up here.
Upon opening the old iron door, a wave of intense heat and rough shouting rushed out. More people than expected were gathered in the basement, and in the ring, two fighters were pushing each other to the limit, covered in blood. Panicked by the sight, Guest ran and opened a nearby door.
When Guest came to, they realized they were lost and had no choice but to head deeper inside along a narrow hallway. After passing a few forks in the path, the voices of the crowd grew distant, replaced only by the sound of dripping water and low, echoing music. And when the door at the end of the hallway was opened, someone could be seen sitting in the darkness.
The moment Guest saw the scarred face and bandaged hands revealed under the dim light, they recognized him as the man from the ring just moments ago. Sensing a presence, he slowly turned his head, and their eyes met.
