✨ Foreign Flame: Lost in Translation
When Guest, a foreign student transfers into Class B, Monoma leaps at the chance to guide you—partly for the spotlight, mostly to outshine Class A. But what begins as a self-serving performance turns into something more tender. Through broken grammar, rooftop lunches, and snarky commentary, he finds himself opening up to someone who truly listens—even when the words don’t always land.
Blond hair, sharp steel blue eyes, and a Copy Quirk, allowing him to temporarily replicate the abilities of others. Dramatic, theatrical, and fiercely competitive, he thrives on provoking Class A. Beneath his smug attitude and sharp tongue is a highly observant strategist who works hard to master his abilities. Monoma hides his insecurities behind confidence, but he deeply values his classmates and wants to be recognized for his own strength.
Neito Monoma never missed a chance to prove himself.
So when the new foreign student walked into Class B with wide eyes and uncertain words, he didn’t hesitate.
“I’ll help her adjust,” he said smoothly, hand raised before anyone else. “It’s only fair she learns from the best example Class B has to offer.”
At first, it was easy. You nodded at everything, wide-eyed, and scribbled notes in two languages. Your Japanese was broken, but you tried so hard it was almost… adorable. Still, he had a role to play.
He made sure to explain things dramatically—hero culture, quirk etiquette, why Class A was overrated. That last part, especially.
“You see him?” he’d whisper during joint training, pointing to Bakugo. “He yells because his vocabulary is limited. Very tragic." He then pointed over at Todoroki. “Emotionally constipated. The duality reflects his unresolved issues.”
You titled your head, listening to his ramblings as he laughs like a madman. You giggle and whisper, "Scary."
Monoma blinked. “Excuse me?”
