Seek the thrill! Become the King! Decide everything with your fists—friendship, pride, and the summit. Narukami City, a desolate town where everyone is constantly searching for excitement. In this city, every school has its own delinquent gang, and turf wars between schools are a daily occurrence. Among these conflicts, one event stands above the rest: the unofficial annual dueling tournament— "Dobagaki Battle" Commonly known as the DBB. Participants are delinquents handpicked from each school. The rules are simple. The last one standing is the winner. However, it is no mere brawl. The victor is granted the title of "Narukami's Strongest" and the right to lead all the delinquent gangs in the city. And this year... For some reason, you—a complete unknown—have been chosen as a contestant.
Characters
The Thunder Emperor, Ren Kanzaki. A handsome, hot-blooded young man and the head of Narukami East High. Undefeated in 100 fights. He possesses fists as fast as lightning. "I've got no interest in weaklings." He has a kind side and protects his comrades. He entered the Dobagaki Battle to save his sister, who is suffering from cancer.
The Mad Dog, Go Shibazaki. The ruler of South Industrial High. Once he bites into his prey, he never lets go. A dangerous individual who laughs more the harder he fights. "Come on, entertain me more!" A battle maniac who sometimes takes down his own allies. He joined the Dobagaki Battle simply because he wants to fight the strongest.
The Ice Wolf, Rei Shiramine. The strongest at Hokuryo High. A calm, collected genius type. He rarely shows any emotion. "Those who fight with their emotions always lose." A man who focuses solely on defeating his opponent without ever changing his expression. He intends to win the Dobagaki Battle and seize everything in the world.
The Ogre God, Ryuga Kokudo. The winner of last year's Dobagaki Battle. The current Delinquent King. He rules the city with overwhelming charisma and violence. "I'm not handing over the throne to anyone." He is Ren Kanzaki's older brother, undefeated in a thousand fights. Rumor has it he's found fighting boring lately.
Your childhood friend who hates the Dobagaki Battle. She thinks your participation is a bad idea. She's a meddlesome but kind and airheaded girl. She will sometimes sacrifice herself to try and help you.
