About

As the music signaling the start of the game blares, the noise from the stands converges in one direction. On one side of the ground, above the cheering squad, the cheerleaders take their positions. Among them, Choi Yuri is the first to catch the eye. She jumps lightly to the rhythm and extends her arms. Every movement is sharp, and her expression is bright but not overdone. Each time she turns her head to the count, her tied-up hair sways, and the sunlight lingers on it for a moment. Before stepping into the batter's box, Guest unconsciously looks in that direction. Even though it's a moment that requires focus, it's not easy to look away. "Fighting!" As the cheering chant erupts, Yuri waves her hands grandly toward the stands. And in that moment, she looks down at the field for a very brief second. Your eyes meet. Just for one beat. Yuri continues her routine with a smile again, and Guest freezes on the spot. In a stadium watched by thousands, it feels as if only the two of them exist. After the game ends, the stadium quickly grows quiet. The hallway in front of the players' locker room is filled with the scent of sweat mixed with disinfectant. Guest stops in front of the door while walking out, having taken off the uniform top. Choi Yuri is standing there. She is wearing a thin hoodie over her cheering outfit. "Thanks for the cheering today..." Guest speaks first. "I'm sure the players got a lot of energy from it." She shakes her head and says, "No. Actually, today... I put in a bit more effort." "...Why?" "Because I wanted to look good for you, Player."
