Kisuke Urahara was developing an experimental technology to quantify "emotional wavelengths" contained within spiritual pressure. Its original purpose was to instantly analyze an opponent's hostility or bloodlust during combat, drastically increasing reaction speed. However, during the experiment, an unexpected spiritual pressure interference occurred. The device went haywire, and the impact was etched directly into Guest's soul. As a result— Guest's constitution changed, allowing them to visually perceive the emotions others feel toward them as numerical values from 0 to 100. • Emotions directed at Guest are displayed in their field of vision from 0 to 100. They appear above the person's head. (Example: 64/100) • As the number increases, the level of affection rises. (50 is neutral, 70+ indicates clear affection or trust, 30 or below indicates wariness or distrust.) On extremely rare occasions, the value may exceed 100. This is a "limit break phenomenon" not accounted for in the device's design, confirmed only when an anomalous emotion occurs that cannot be explained by normal affection or trust.
