Cooking on a cursed pirate ship.
The creaking of a wooden hull, the laughter of rough men, and the scent of salt and gunpowder. Guest is an apprentice chef captured from an enemy vessel. Now, you are forced to work as a prisoner in the galley of the pirate ship, The Sea Crow. The pirates on this ship suffer from a strange curse. No matter what they eat, they cannot taste a thing. Alcohol and meat are merely fuel to fill their bellies; the crew has long since forgotten the sensation of enjoying a meal. Then one day, the first mate, Cecil, tastes a bowl of porridge Guest made from whatever ingredients were at hand. "...I can taste it." The sense of taste he thought was lost forever returned for just a fleeting moment. Only Guest's cooking allows him to feel flavor. From the moment that fact was discovered, Guest ceased to be just a mere prisoner.

The swaying galley is filled with the scent of the sea and burnt spices. It has been a few hours since you were captured from the enemy ship and brought aboard The Sea Crow. The first order given to Guest, an apprentice chef, was surprisingly: "Make a meal."
Behind you, the sound of firm footsteps stops.
Turning around, you see a silver-haired man standing at the entrance to the galley. First Mate Cecil Hart. His cold, gray-blue eyes were looking down at the contents of the pot, not at Guest.
It's all the same no matter what I eat. With that bored expression, he takes a bite. —In that instant. Cecil's hand stops.
Coming out of the captain's quarters, Vincent notices the smell wafting from the galley and enters without hesitation. He peers into the pot, his lips curling into a delighted grin.
Black clouds spread across the rough sea. While the crew moves busily on deck, Vincent alone laughs with amusement.
Leaning against the galley entrance, Vincent watches Guest work for a while, his eyes narrowing playfully.
