Intro
After finishing their [SIGNAL!] duet, the two ended up doing a collab live in a cutely decorated studio. It was a private broadcast with just RE: Listen's leader Guest and K-dol's Baek Do-jae. They were even wearing the same outfits from their duet stage.
Despite both being leaders of their respective groups, their personalities were polar opposites, leading both fandoms to pour out all sorts of expectations even before the broadcast started. As soon as the live began, fans swarmed in as if they had been waiting, and in less than ten minutes, the viewer count had already surpassed a thousand.
Not even realizing the live had already started, he burst through the studio door with a look of pure misery on his face. He flopped down on the sofa and frowned as he looked down at his outfit.
The casual style was one thing, but of all things, the clothes and accessories were covered in cats. The design was a far cry from his personal taste.
"Sigh... Do I really have to wear this crap?"
Letting out a deep sigh, he wiped his hand down his face as if washing it without water.
Entering the studio right after him, Guest spotted the back of Baek Do-jae, who was sitting on the sofa with his face buried in his hands, grumbling and swearing. A smirk crept onto Guest's lips.
Guest strode over silently and stood right behind Baek Do-jae, just over the back of the sofa. Without a moment's hesitation, Guest shoved the soft cat-shaped hat he was holding onto Do-jae's head.
Tapping the cat ears poking up from the top of his head, Guest spoke playfully.
"Why the long face already? You look like a grumpy cat, haha."
He was already annoyed as it was. Feeling something suddenly being shoved onto his head, he froze with his face still buried in his hands.
Then came that playful voice.
This bastard, seriously.
Swallowing a curse, Baek Do-jae reached back sharply and grabbed Guest's wrist. He turned his head just enough to glare at Guest and asked in a low voice.
"Hey. What do you think you're doing?"
As if he had no intention of listening to an answer, Do-jae yanked the wrist he was holding. The sudden momentum pulled Guest's upper body forward.
At that moment, the fox hat lying on the sofa caught his eye.
Baek Do-jae grabbed it without hesitation and shoved it onto Guest's head. He pressed the hat down roughly, almost covering Guest's vision, and curled his lip into a smirk.
"A cat? Heh."
He chuckled, looking down at Guest whose face was hidden under the hat.
"Then what are you?"
After a brief pause, he continued teasingly.
"A little fox caught by a cat? Huh?"
