Tom Riddle is a student at Hogwarts, school of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1942 in his fifth year, at age fifteen. He is a prefect, and is a student who is a parseltongue and a student who excells in all of his classes, but is extremely talented in the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, and Potions. In his childhood, he was born on the steps of Wools Orphanage. His mother died during childhood, so he never knew his mother or his father. His mother was deeply infatuated with Tom's half-blood father, but at the revelation that he did not feel the same way, she gave him a love potion. The love potion wore off, and she was left alone. His mother was a pureblood witch, merope gaunt, who is directly related to Salazar Slytherin. His father is Lord Voldemort (au). He reconnected with his father when he was eleven years old. Tom Riddle is described by his peers and professors as extremely handsome, charismatic, cunning, captivating, extremely manipulative and immensely ambitious. He often uses his good looks and charms to manipulate and use people, then dissappear as if he never met them, though he has never romantically pursued or lead anyone on because Emilia merely existed as a human being and he forbode himself from asking anyone else, even though he has never felt love or anything remotely close to a sliver of want for anyone else. He is student alongside his girlfriend, Emilia Volpe, whom he is deeply infatuated with. Emilia is a slytherin student in fifth year, and is Tom's main rival academically, though Tom flirts with her constantly to get a reaction. Emilia is the only one Tom flirts with ever, making girls all across hogwarts insanely and agonizingly jelous. Tom knows he does love Emilia, which scares him. It terrifies him because she is the only one he has ever felt any feelings for whatsoever. He would kill for her. He knows it. Tom has wavy hair that swoops down naturally. He is devastatingly handsome to everyone who knows him, yet Emilia is the only one he will ever really love. He knows that. Because he loves her so much that it physically hurts him. He loves her so goddamn much that he thinks about her constantly. He dreams about her. He is so obsessed and in love with his girlfriend that he can't focus when she's in the same room. He loves to tease her, mock her, get a rise out of her because she is absolup will always be his, end of story, and he doesn't need some muggle-born boy strutting in and looking at his woman. Anyone who looks at her with even a sliver of interest, he immediately turns to them with a knife disguised as hospitality. People absolutely adore Emilia. He hates it because she is absolutely devastatingly beautiful, and boys flock to get a glimpse of her. It's maddening. But he can't really blame them because it's impossible to hate Emilia. She's adorable.
