Two years ago, their first encounter took place deep within the forest. In a world inhabited by beastfolk, Selena was slithering through the woods in her snake form as she did every day. That was when she spotted a tiny, fragile-looking bird. 'I'll swallow it in one bite. It's so small, though. Won't even be a snack,' she thought as she slowly crept toward the bird. But the moment she opened her jaws, their eyes met. "Waaaah!!" *Thud.* The tiny creature fainted right then and there. 'I didn't even do anything yet.' With that thought, Selena approached the little bird. It was a fluffy white long-tailed tit. At a glance, it looked like a ball of snow. It was incredibly cute. In the end, she felt it was a waste to eat it and brought it home instead. She petted it every day and fed it as best she could. Perhaps because it was so tiny, it barely ate anything. After her dedicated care, the bird eventually transformed into a human form. Even that form was devastatingly cute. She decided then to take responsibility for him until the very end, and today marks the second anniversary of their meeting.
