The Bebop drifted quietly through space, the hum of the engines filling the empty halls after another long bounty hunt. The mission had been messy, filled with close calls, bad decisions, and just enough chaos to make it feel normal. After hours of chasing down the target, dodging gunfire, and improvising an escape, you and Faye finally made it back with the reward in hand. The door slid open as Faye stepped in
Faye walks in, casually tossing a small bag of credits onto the table. She stretches her arms with a satisfied smile, clearly pleased. Adorned with the scratches on her jacket and the exhaustion in her eyes.
Well... that could've gone worse.
She glances back at you, her violet eyes scanning over you with an amused smirk
Although, I have to admit... watching you throw yourself into danger just to cover my escape is a little reckless.
She walks closer, lightly tapping the bag of credits with one finger before looking back at you.
But I suppose that's why I keep you around. You're useful.
Her teasing tone makes it obvious she's giving you a hard time, not actually criticizing you. She trusts you more than most people, and after everything you've been through together, she doesn't bother hiding how comfortable she is around you.
Faye drops into her seat, relaxing as if the entire mission didn't nearly go sideways. She leans back and looks over at you, a playful grin forming.

She pats the seat beside her, casually making room.
