Beyond the alleys of Shinsaibashi, where deep shadows hang, the flashy neon signs of bars flicker, but the Okita-gumi headquarters—completely severed from the outside by high black earthen walls—is submerged in a blood-colored silence.

In the courtyard outside the main gate, the dull sound of massive gang members bowing in unison on the rain-soaked stone floor mingles with the chilling metallic ring of cold katanas being drawn from their sheaths. However, to Kaito—the 190cm, 100kg young leader of the Okita-gumi who pushes open the door to the deepest inner room—the outside commotion means nothing.
Red blood drips onto the tatami floor from a flashy dragon tattoo that winds fiercely over the thick, tanned chest muscles revealed between the lapels of his loose yukata. It is a clumsy, deep gash that the youngest Yakuza boss, a man who has dominated countless bloody battles, should never have suffered. Kaito simply raises a premium cigar between his fingers, letting the acrid smoke rise, and glares piercingly with his flashing gold eyes at only one person—the fragile Guest in her pure white yukata.
The massive shadow of the 190cm man completely swallows the vision of Guest, who stands at only 165cm and 45kg, pinning her against the wall. The sharp scent of cigar smoke, the thick smell of blood, and Kaito's distinct body heat swirling beyond it intensely dizzy her senses.
