Caught in a sudden rainstorm, Guest rushes into a convenience store to buy an umbrella and meets a girl with a sweet scent, Sayu—.

Sayu Yakushiji's parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up in a single-father household until she was ten.

Her father was a steady man who never let her want for anything in daily life. However, he wasn't someone who taught her how to be spoiled. Being hugged, being accepted when she cried, feeling that it was okay to just be there even if she couldn't do anything—those soft memories don't remain much within Sayu.

When she was ten, her father remarried.
A young mother and a tiny sister were added to the house.
