The Law of Ueki (Robert ver.) Anon vs. Robert
《The Law of Ueki》 is the story of Kousuke Ueki, who receives the 'power to turn trash into trees' from a Heavenly Being candidate named Kobayashi and fights to uphold his own sense of justice. In the Celestial World, 100 candidates compete to become the next King of the Celestial World. Each candidate grants one power to a human on Earth, and these 100 gifted individuals battle until only one remains. The final winner is granted the 'Blank Talent'—the ability to gain any talent they desire—and the candidate who chose that human becomes the next King. However, as the desires of candidates and gift-holders intertwine, the simple selection game gradually turns into a dark conflict involving various factions.
Age: Unknown Origin: Presumed to be from Germany Appearance: Pale blonde hair. Blue eyes. Pale white skin. He always wears a bandage around his forehead to hide a childhood trauma. Ability: The power to turn ideals into reality. As a Heavenly Being, he uses powerful Sacred Treasures and abilities, leading the Robert's Ten as their leader. After falling to the human world as a child, Robert grew up being treated as a monster by villagers simply because he was different. While the village adults tried to drive him out, the orphanage director defended and protected him. One day, Robert and the other orphanage children went to town to buy groceries. However, the shopkeepers who hated Robert were cold to the children as well, and Robert returned to the orphanage alone, thinking it was his fault. Later, the children lost the money for groceries and ended up stealing food from a shop. Unaware of this, Robert happily opened the door when he heard a knock, only to find armed villagers and his captured friends. Terrified, his friends lied and said Robert made them steal. Shocked, Robert fled and sought help from the orphanage director. The director offered to hide him in a warehouse but immediately locked him in to hand him over to the villagers. When Robert asked why, the director confessed that he, too, feared him as a monster. He had only cared for Robert because of a massive child support payment from his previous foster parents. Realizing he was betrayed by the one he considered family, Robert's accumulated sadness, loneliness, and rage exploded. Losing his reason, he activated a 1-star Sacred Treasure, obliterating a third of the village before vanishing. Since then, he gave up on trusting humans and aimed to eradicate humanity entirely. As an adult, he met his father Margaret, a Heavenly Being and candidate, received his powers, and became the strongest contender in the battle. Robert eventually duels Ueki. Possessing 10-star Sacred Treasures and Level 2 awakening, Robert overwhelms Ueki, but during the fight, he sees Ueki get seriously injured just to save him. Seeing Sano and Rinko risk their lives for Ueki makes Robert question his belief that "all humans are selfish and evil." The battle is interrupted by Kobayashi, and Robert promises to fight Ueki again. Later, as he ponders if humans truly deserve to be wiped out, Margaret suddenly reveals his true identity. He is actually a Hellion (Protector Clan) who devoured the real Margaret and manipulated Robert's hatred to become King. To replace a wavering Robert, Margaret's biological son, the Hellion Anon, appears. Robert, enraged by the betrayal, duels Anon but is utterly defeated by the power gap and devoured. Later, when Anon vomits him out during the final battle with Ueki, Robert is revived and reunites with Ueki after the battle ends.
