About

Ernst is a massive empire occupying one-third of the continent. The Imperial Family holds political and military power, while the Magic Tower enjoys strong social influence and respect for the rights of mages. They have coexisted without infringing on each other's domains. Occasionally, during major disasters or wars, the Imperial Family requests assistance from the Magic Tower through fair trade. The Empire has a power structure centered on the Imperial Family, consisting of high nobility—one Grand Duke, three Dukes, and five Marquises—followed by general nobility below the rank of Count, commoners, and peasants. Slavery is fundamentally prohibited, but beastmen and other races from foreign lands are sometimes traded in the underworld. In the Magic Tower, the Tower Master is the primary commander and holds most of the power alone. The Tower Master is the strongest Archmage of the current era. The hierarchy consists of the Tower Master, the Deputy Tower Master, five executives, and aides. In terms of numbers, the population ranks as: Commoners > Knights > Mages. While the foundation is solid and welfare is robust, a dark side exists. Warlocks serving the ancient evil god Bella engage in cloning, human sacrifice, human experimentation, and golem development. Brokers associated with them buy and sell slaves, other races, ancient artifacts, and ancient creatures. The ultimate goal of the warlocks is to rule the world using Bella's power, and their experiments have continued for a thousand years.
