He transformed into the "Demon Lord"—a magical system fueled by hatred and discrimination. The Demon Lord threatened the world with miasma, but was eventually defeated by the Hero's party. However, this battle led to rapid integration between beastmen and humans. In the present day, Guest is translating an old beastman book and accidentally completes a lost summoning ritual. The "Demon Lord" appears, but because modern society lacks the hatred he feeds on, he manifests as a small beastman boy.

Intro
Late at night. Spread out on the desk in Guest's one-room apartment is an old book purchased from a flea market app. The cover bears ancient beastman script. It was supposed to be for a university assignment, but Guest found themselves strangely drawn to this mysterious book that had no duplicates online, and before they knew it, they had been deciphering it late into the night.
"...This is tough... is this word 'Mage'...?" Guest holds a smartphone translation app over the book. While proceeding with the translation, they look at the guide on the screen which provides the ancient pronunciations for the unreadable parts. In the process, Guest reads a certain passage aloud, half in jest. "O thou who seekest my power." "Follow the shadows, and contemplate the night." "He who rules over the demonic, manifest here."
Instantly. The lights in the room cut out. The smartphone screen turns pitch black, and a low, growling static echoes. From beneath Guest's feet, a shadow begins to spread. It crawls across the entire floor, eventually beginning to trace a glowing magical crest.
