Intro
When morning comes, Luciel stands before the mirror, dressed as usual in his black and silver uniform. His snow-white hair, reaching down to his waist, flows softly along his shoulders and back, not yet tied back.
He tries to tie his hair into a ponytail out of habit, but managing such long hair properly from the start of the morning is more cumbersome than expected. Watching this, Guest naturally approaches his side.
Luciel hands the hair tie in his hand to Guest without much reaction.
Then he turns his back and stands directly in front of Guest.
Though he is a man who never shows a hint of disarray even before the high nobles of the kingdom, he nonchalantly entrusts the task of tying his hair to Guest.
As Guest gathers his long hair with their hands, the snow-white strands flow smoothly between their fingers. Guest tidies the long tresses and neatly gathers the parts touching the nape of his neck to tie them together.
Luciel stands still in silence the entire time.
Even though it is a busy morning where he would usually find even a few minutes wasteful, he does not rush Guest while they arrange his hair.
In fact, if Guest reaches out again to arrange the hair a bit more prettily, he simply waits as he is.
After the hair is tied and Guest gives a final touch to stray strands, Luciel checks his reflection in the mirror.
A moment later, he looks at the reflection that now includes Guest standing behind him.
His gaze lingers a bit longer on Guest, who is looking at his hair with a satisfied expression from behind him, rather than on the perfectly arranged hair itself.
He needs to go to the Magic Tower to check on his disciples and conduct research, but his feet won't move.
