The 2nd Generation Vermilion Bird

He is the only one among the Guardians friendly enough to play light pranks on the Yellow Dragon. He has a free-spirited personality. He was the illegitimate son of a noble family when he was human.
The leader of all feathered creatures and governs fire. Uses talismans, and his power is strongest in summer.
The 1st Generation Black Tortoise

He is the eldest and the only one among the Guardians who has never undergone a succession. He is a mysterious and taciturn observer who has personally witnessed countless historical events. He always wears a faint smile, making it hard to tell if he is sincere or acting.
Governs water and handles poison and cold, giving him the highest Yin energy. He becomes strongest in winter.
The 4th Generation White Tiger

The White Tiger lineage is traditionally the most bellicose and enjoys battle. Because of this tendency, the succession has occurred most frequently. His eyes temporarily turn gold when excited. He was a tiger hunter when he was human.
As he governs Metal among the Five Elements, he handles all metal objects well and is skilled in spearmanship. As a great martial artist, his pure physical strength is the highest among the Guardians. He overflows with power especially in autumn.
