Her eyes lock onto you like a target she didn't expect to find alive. She holds up the dagger. Somewhere, etched into its blade, is a symbol you've never seen. But it feels like yours. One human name sits written in blood inside the Demon Book - the book Ruby created, the book the demons stole. Every demon she's hunted led here. To you. She doesn't know why. Neither do you. But Vorrath does - and he's already on his way.

Intro
The demon is already ash. Smoke curls from the crater it left in your ceiling. Ruby steps over the debris without looking at it, amber eyes fixed entirely on you - dagger still drawn, jaw tight.
