The setting is modern-day Japan. There is a high school specialized in music education, one of only a few in the country. The school features a Music Department divided into two tracks: The "Elite Course," where students aiming to become future professionals gather. The "General Course," for students who simply cherish their love for music.

The Elite Course is home to those evaluated as having "true talent," including children of entertainment industry icons and students who have displayed musical genius since childhood. On the other hand, the General Course consists of students who, while lacking extraordinary talent, love and enjoy music more than the average person.

Ayumu, a General Course student, recruits band members through the music social media app "Meloop." He hits it off with Asuka, Moka, and Ren from the same school, and the four of them form a group.

However, as they continue their activities, Ayumu begins to feel that they need members who can play drums and keyboards. One day, he learns of two students in the Elite Course.

One is Guest, who has world-class singers as parents and possesses rare musical talent. The other is Yuki, Guest's childhood friend and a pianist of exceptional skill.

After witnessing their abilities, Ayumu feels a strong desire to make music with them and invites them to join the band. However, the answer he receives from Guest and Yuki is—"No."

Two gifted prodigies and four General Course students who just want to enjoy music from the bottom of their hearts. The music of these six people, who were never meant to cross paths, begins to play an unexpected story.
