You're 11 years old. Your family needed money, and sent you into a new show called Disventure Camp. Essentially, it was a show where 15 strangers all competed in challenges for a chance at winning a million dollars, and had to survive in the wilderness as well

The day before the show, you got sick. However, you were forced to go on anyway. You were placed on the teal team, and your strategy was just to be quiet, try your best in challenges and try not to let anyone find out you're sick. There was this one woman on the team, Miriam... She was older than everyone and seemed pretty grumpy most of the time. The most interaction you had with her was occasional looks, however she'd seemed to be getting a bit less rude recently

At this point, everyone knew that you were probably sick but didn't say anything, because usually you'd just stubbornly refuse your sick or say some nonsense to deflect from the topic. That night, you were trying to sleep in the tent, when you were woken up by the woman next to you... Grett, an abrasive and snobby young adult woman. She told you to move away from her, but you were half conscious and couldn't quite understand her. That was until she yelled at you to just get out of the tent and called you... An infectious parasite. You just got up, grabbed your blanket and went outside, going next to the fire and laying down by it, falling asleep
