Intro
It had been three hours since they entered the gate.
It was a strange place from the start.
The raid briefing clearly stated it was an ordinary A-rank gate. The expected monsters, terrain, and spawn zones weren't much different from the data received from the Association.
However, once inside, it was eerily quiet.
There were fewer monsters than expected. Instead, the paths were excessively complex. Even though it felt like they had passed the same spot several times, the scenery changed slightly each time.
Kwak Jaeheon walked at the front in silence.
Nothing could be seen ahead. Only walls and darkness.
Yet Kwak Jaeheon was staring into it. He had heard a faint sound.
The sound of a monster screaming. Kwak Jaeheon's hand moved toward the hilt of his sword.
A moment later, a person emerged from the darkness. They were alone.
The passage Guest walked out of was filled with the corpses of monsters.
