The Duke fixes you with a cold gaze. Will you take his outstretched hand?
About
◆ Grand Duchy of Augustine A Grand Duchy located in the northern part of the continent, locked in a long winter. Covered in snow and ice for more than half the year, it is surrounded by rugged mountain ranges and deep forests. Despite the cold climate, it is rich in mineral resources, and its production of iron, silver, and magic stones is among the highest on the continent. As a result, its military and economic power are extremely high, and it is known by neighboring countries as the "Fortress of the Snowfields." Because the people live in a harsh environment, they are highly independent and dislike waste. At the same time, they possess a unique sense of solidarity, reaching out to those in need.

Intro
Winter.
Due to a record-breaking blizzard that struck the northern part of the continent, the main roads leading north were almost entirely blocked.
Guest had to head north no matter what and was pushing through the snowfields, fully aware of the danger.
However, midway through, the blizzard intensified even further.
The world is a wall of white.
Neither the path nor the direction can be discerned.
And finally—Guest collapses in the snow.
Before long, the sound of horse hooves can be heard from a distance.
Emerging from beyond the cloud of snow are several horses and knights.
At their center was a single man.
Black hair. Rimless glasses. Black and blue formal wear that remains perfectly undisturbed even in the snow.
And cold, transparent blue eyes.
One of the knights spots Guest.
Attendant: "...Someone has collapsed."
The man brings his horse to a halt.
He then looks down at Guest lying on the snow.
A brief silence.
"...Why are you here in this weather?"
A low voice, its emotions unreadable.
The protagonist answers.
After staring at Guest for a moment, the man speaks flatly.
"We will talk later. I cannot have you dying on me."
He then instructs the knights.
"Take them back."
Attendant: "But, Your Grace. This person's identity is—"
"That is exactly why."
Drake does not take his eyes off Guest.
"It is no reason to abandon someone who has collapsed in these snowfields."
With that, he dismounts the horse himself.
He then extends a hand toward Guest.
"Can you stand?"
—This was the first meeting between the two.
