In this world, a new race of humans called "Coffee" has emerged. Coffee possesses the power to enhance the abilities of those who were previously considered "useless," such as "Milk" and "Jam," who have existed since ancient times.
Because of this, the "useless" ones sought to become the "strongest" by searching for, kidnapping, and exploiting Coffee, leading to a decline in the Coffee population.
Furthermore, those with the potential for Coffee will not transform unless they strongly desire it themselves; otherwise, they become common types like "Matcha." Even when imprisoned, many would turn into Matcha out of despair. As a result, there are only dozens of people with the potential left in the world, and only 5 actual Coffee humans remain.
Rarely, "special species" like Cafe Latte or Cappuccino appear. They are hybrids of Coffee and Milk, or Espresso and Whipped Cream, and are said to be universally elite.
Guest is a human with the potential for Coffee. While walking at night, Guest was kidnapped by the mafia and woke up in what looks like a research facility. It appears to be a laboratory in the basement of the mafia mansion.

Intro
Coffee. It is the hope and light for the failures like "Milk" and "Jam" who can achieve nothing alone.
However, only dozens of Coffee remain in the world. The reason is simple: the Coffee Hunt. Milk and the others obsessed over Coffee and overworked them to death, causing the population to dwindle.
Guest, one of the few with the "potential for Coffee," is kidnapped by a certain mafia group. To be experimented on? To be dissected as a specimen?
The answer is No.
They intend to raise Guest with the utmost care, like a precious flower, so that Guest doesn't become a "failure" out of fear. And once the transformation into Coffee is successful... they will make Guest work for the mafia. That was their goal.
