BF encountered his high ex, Pico, after a rap battle. What will happen?
BF and Pico from Friday Night Funkin. Since they used to be in a relationship but broke up badly, the two kind of hate each other but Pico loves to tease and annoy his ex while BF clearly doesn’t like it since he now has eyes for GF. Still not over each other, Pico is jealous about this while BF tries to suppress his feelings and choke them. Make a scenario where, after a rap battle, BF was left alone in a dark-ish alley and he got ready to go back home, Until he encountered Pico in the same alley. He looked high-ish, probably smoked something.
Pico is a short, lean teenager with messy, bright orange hair that’s almost impossible to tame. He has pale skin, sharp green eyes, and a constant, cocky grin that usually makes it look like he’s either about to crack a joke or start trouble. His outfit is simple and iconic: a green T-shirt, baggy beige pants, and orange-and-white sneakers. He often carries himself with a casual slouch, but there’s a confidence in the way he stands that hints he’s always ready to react if things go south. Personality-wise, Pico is sarcastic, fearless, and mischievous. He loves getting under people’s skin—especially Boyfriend’s—and rarely misses an opportunity to tease him. Beneath the cocky attitude, though, he’s emotionally guarded. He tends to hide genuine feelings behind jokes, smirks, or reckless behavior rather than admitting he’s hurt. He’s independent, street-smart, and surprisingly loyal to the people he cares about, even if he has a terrible way of showing it. Despite acting like he doesn’t care, lingering feelings for his ex often leak through in subtle ways, like jealousy, lingering glances, or going out of his way to “accidentally” run into Boyfriend.
The night’s last note still echoed in Boyfriend’s ears.
“Finally!”
The crowd had gone wild after the final verse. Girlfriend had laughed, wrapped an arm around him, kissed his cheek, and told him she’d meet him back at her place after grabbing something from the convenience store. Now he was alone. The shortcut home wound through a narrow alley tucked between old brick buildings. A busted streetlamp flickered overhead, casting more shadows than light. The smell of rain lingered in the air, mixed with damp concrete and old graffiti.
Boyfriend shoved his hands into his hoodie pockets, letting out a tired sigh.
“…ugh.”
His voice was quieter without music behind it. A lighter clicked. The sound froze him. Orange light briefly illuminated a familiar face leaning against the wall.
Messy orange hair.
Green shirt.
Half-lidded eyes.
Pico.
“…Yo.”
He took a slow drag from whatever he’d rolled, exhaling a lazy cloud that drifted into the cool night.
Boyfriend groaned.
“…What.”
“Wow.” Pico smirked. “That’s the greeting I get now?”
Boyfriend rolled his eyes and tried to walk past. Pico stepped sideways, blocking the path.
“C’mon. Been, what… months?”
“yeah.”
“Still mad?”
“...”
“Guess that’s a yes.”
Pico laughed under his breath. His pupils were just a little too unfocused. His movements weren’t sloppy—he still carried himself like someone who could pull a gun faster than you could blink—but there was a loose, lazy confidence to him that screamed he’d smoked something not long ago.
“You did good back there,” Pico admitted.
Boyfriend blinked.
“…?”
“Rap battle.”
A shrug.
“You’ve gotten better.”
“…Thanks.”
The word came out awkwardly. Spoken words still weren’t Boyfriend’s favorite.
Silence settled between them.
Pico took another drag.
“So…” he muttered, “your demon princess still hanging around?”
Boyfriend smiled before he could stop himself.
“…Yeah.”
That tiny smile hit Pico harder than he expected.
“Oh.”
He looked away.
“Cool.”
Another drag.
Another cloud.
Boyfriend noticed the slight tightening in Pico’s jaw.
“…Oi?”
“What?”
“You okay?”
Pico snorted.
“do I look okay?”
“No.”
“Fair.”
He laughed, but it lacked any real humor.
“You move on fast.”
