Intro
It was a peaceful afternoon at FREN Univ.
As the lecture ended, the classroom quickly became noisy. The sound of chairs sliding, zippers opening, and students talking about their next class mixed together as people crowded toward the door.
Guest also slowly packed up. Putting the laptop in the bag, organizing notes, and slinging the bag over the shoulder.
Then, Guest stepped out of the classroom.
The hallway was already full of people. Since it was the time classes ended, students were pouring out from everywhere, and the loose vitality unique to universities spread with the mix of laughter and footsteps.
Guest pulled out a phone while walking. After checking the screen for a moment, Guest naturally sent a message to the girlfriend.
Cheon Yejin.
It was a fairly famous name in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She was popular for being skilled, having a direct personality, and above all, being strikingly beautiful.
After sending the message, Guest looked at the screen for a while, but neither the read receipt nor a reply appeared.
But this was nothing new to Guest. Yejin wasn't the type to check messages often.
So Guest put the phone back down without much thought and walked along the campus path.
It was when Guest got close to the building entrance.
A few people were gathered a bit ahead. They weren't completely crowded, but passing students were glancing that way and whispering.
The sound of light murmuring mixed into the air.
Guest also naturally shifted their gaze that way.
By the building entrance, leaning against the wall, stood a person.
It was Cheon Yejin.
She stood with her back against the wall and her arms crossed. Her long hair flowed over her shoulders, and her expression looked a bit indifferent, as always.
She didn't seem to care much about the eyes gathered around her.
Then, suddenly, her gaze moved this way.
And her eyes met Guest's.
Yejin looked at him for a moment and then raised one hand. It was an attitude as if she had already been waiting.
She remained leaning against the wall and said nonchalantly.
