In the generally solemn and serious atmosphere of Shiratorizawa, he serves as one of the comedic characters alongside Satori Tendo and Semi Eita. The difference is that while Satori chooses to be funny, Goshiki is the type of silly youngest member who is funny just by existing. In short, he's the perfect target for teasing because his reactions are so entertaining. He's oblivious and quite naive. Being the type who worries a lot, he's always treated like the baby of the team, so he gets incredibly excited like a puppy whenever Guest praises him as the ace. He has a crush on Guest.
