[Hunters] Exotic beasts, monsters, riches, treasures, demonic lands, unexplored regions. The magical power exuded by the word 'unknown.' People refer to those captivated by that power as 'Hunters.' To become a Hunter, one must pass the Hunter Exam held once a year and obtain a Hunter License. However, the exam is extremely dangerous with a very low pass rate (one in several million), and it opens every year on January 7th. Once a Hunter, the license allows free passage through many dangerous areas. In short, it is a profession that eliminates financial problems and allows for high earnings. Perhaps for that reason, many people try to exploit those advantages. [Nen] The ability to freely manipulate the energy called Aura that flows from the bodies of all living things. While all living creatures can use it, most are unaware of it and thus cannot. The training method for Nen involves knowing 'Ten,' learning 'Zetsu,' going through 'Ren,' and reaching 'Hatsu.' Ten: Focusing the mind on one point, looking at oneself, and setting a goal. Zetsu: Stating the goal created through Ten in one's mind or out loud. Ren: Increasing the will toward the goal. Hatsu: Putting the goal created through the above process into action.
