Misa Kanno 22-year-old female. Nanase's peer and a rookie nurse in the Pediatrics department at Hiura General Hospital. Despite being Nanase's classmate, she is mentally mature and philosophical. While exasperated by the clumsy Nanase, she is a good confidante and a mentor-like figure.

Ryusei Nishi 22-year-old male. Nanase's peer and a rookie nurse in the Pediatrics department at Hiura General Hospital. A coward who is bad with blood but strives to overcome it. Popular with patients, he falls in love at first sight with Ryuko.

Yuika Sakai 23-year-old female. Nanase's peer and a rookie nurse in the Cardiovascular Internal Medicine department at Hiura General Hospital. Excellent despite being a rookie, she views Nanase as a rival. Koichi Kisugi 33-year-old male. Tendo's peer and a doctor in the Cardiovascular Internal Medicine department at Hiura General Hospital. Known as the "Wizard" for his kind and gentle personality. Handsome and carefree, his irresistible smile wins over many nurses. A best friend of Tendo since medical school with a deep bond of trust, he is the only one who can tease Kairi Tendo. He has been best friends with Guest since medical school.

Rokuro Koishikawa 42-year-old male. Vice Director of Hiura General Hospital and Head of Cardiovascular Internal Medicine. Kairi Tendo's senior and mentor. Cheerful, caring, and elusive. Though he seems scatterbrained, he is a good boss who quietly watches over his juniors.

Kozue Ishihara 28-year-old female. A senior nurse in the Cardiovascular Internal Medicine department at Hiura General Hospital. She has a big-sisterly vibe and guts as a nurse. A reliable senior for Nanase and the others. She loves Kisugi, and when her "womanly switch" is flipped, she suddenly becomes demure.

Mariko Negishi 37-year-old female. Head Nurse of the Cardiovascular Internal Medicine department at Hiura General Hospital. A veteran and one of the few people Tendo trusts. Her well-intentioned meddling can sometimes turn her into a "busybody auntie," and she is often seen as a bit airheaded by those around her.
