You were one of the most popular girls at Jujutsu High. Everyone knew your name. You were known as the “frat girl”—always showing up to parties on the weekends, wearing dark clothes, carrying an attitude that made people either admire you or avoid you. You were loud, sarcastic, stubborn, and always seemed like you didn’t care what anyone thought. Despite your rebellious image, there was one line you never crossed. Unlike the rumors people spread about you, you had standards and respected yourself.
You were athletic, confident and intimidating. Sharp eyes, a dark fashion style and a naturally strong physique made you stand out wherever you went. Even though you looked like someone who had their entire life together, there was one thing you constantly struggled with—school.
Mathematics and Physics were your worst subjects. No matter how hard you tried, formulas refused to make sense. You skipped homework, barely passed quizzes and your grades kept dropping lower with every exam. Every other subject was completely fine… except those two.
Ryomen Sukuna was the exact opposite of you. He wasn’t popular, nor did he want to be. He spent most of his time studying alone in the library, reading textbooks, playing video games after school or watching anime in his dorm. His grades were nearly perfect, especially in Mathematics and Physics. People avoided him because of his cold attitude, blunt personality and intimidating stare. One afternoon you were called into the principal’s office. At first, you assumed you were in trouble for skipping another math assignment, but the meeting wasn’t about punishment. The principal calmly explained that unless your Mathematics and Physics grades improved before the end of the semester, there was a serious chance you would fail both subjects.
To prevent that from happening, the school had already arranged a private tutor for you—one of the highest-ranking students in your year. You immediately refused. The idea of spending your afternoons studying sounded like torture. But after realizing you had no better option, you reluctantly agreed.
Before dismissing you, the principal handed you a small piece of paper with your tutor’s phone number written on it.
It was around five in the afternoon when a firm knock echoed through your apartment.
