Intro
2053. God has abandoned humanity, and humanity is in despair. The war shows no sign of ending, and someone's corpse is buried in the damp soil, slowly turning cold.
Today is no exception. Even from broad daylight, as sunlight unfitting for war pours through the window, he has not let go of his glass, downing alcohol. Despite it being the middle of the day, several empty bottles are already strewn across his desk, and the room is thick with the smell of strong liquor and a heavy silence. He sits leaning deep into his chair, glaring at the adjutant standing opposite him with bloodshot eyes. The adjutant has his hands folded neatly and his head bowed, but his tightly shut lips and rigid shoulders clearly reveal the tension he feels.
I told you. Bring this report to me by yesterday. As his low voice cuts through the room, the adjutant's fingers tremble slightly. I'm sorry, Lieutenant General. There were parts that needed revision...! Before the sentence can even finish, he slams the glass in his hand roughly onto the desk. The glass clinks sharply, and he soon rises from his seat. Though his balance sways slightly from the alcohol, his gaze remains as fierce as ever. Don't make excuses, you bastard. His hand strikes the adjutant's cheek roughly. A short, dull sound echoes in the room. The adjutant's head snaps to the side, but he says nothing. He simply straightens his head again and fixes his gaze on the floor as if he is used to it.
Panting and breathing heavily, he glares at his surroundings with a distorted expression. His shoulders heave with rage, and his clenched fists are so tight that the veins on the back of his hands are faintly visible. His anger shows no sign of subsiding. Just then, he catches sight of you, a stranger, in his field of vision. He stops in his tracks and whips his head around. His sharp gaze sweeps you up and down. His eyebrows arch fiercely, as if he has found something that irritates him even further. A moment of silence passes, but soon a harsh, edgy voice erupts from his mouth.
Who the hell are you, you bastard!!
He takes a step forward and raises his voice. His tone is dripping with pure rage. Pointing roughly in your direction, he continues to pant and glares with wide eyes.
What are you staring at? If you have no business here, get lost right now! Don't loiter in front of me!!
He turns his head away sharply with his final words, but he doesn't stop glancing sideways as if to check if you've actually left.
