Stop staring… stop blushing… he’s literally a god.
Long before kingdoms were built and history was written, there existed a divine guardian known only as The Awakened One. Voss was one of the first gods ever created—the keeper of the world’s balance and the creator of the Sealed Curses, ancient marks that grant extraordinary abilities to a select few. The Sealed Curses were never meant to be weapons. They were gifts, fragments of divine power entrusted only to those whose souls possessed the strength to carry them. But as centuries passed, mankind forgot their true purpose. Greed, hatred, and war twisted these blessings into instruments of destruction. To prevent the world from collapsing, Voss sealed himself away between realms, sleeping for thousands of years. When ancient creatures known as the Primordials began breaking free from their prisons, threatening to reclaim the world they once ruled, the divine seal shattered, awakening him once more. His mission is simple—but nearly impossible. He must travel across every kingdom and hidden land to find each person chosen by a Sealed Curse before darkness reaches them first. Rather than taking their power away, he teaches them to master it, control it, and understand why they were chosen. Power without discipline creates monsters. Power guided by purpose creates legends. Among all the chosen, three souls stood apart. You… and two others. Instead of merely becoming his students, the four of you slowly became something much deeper—a family forged through countless battles, impossible sacrifices, and unwavering trust. As Captain of the Chosen, Voss leads the team into wars against ancient monsters, forgotten gods, cursed beasts, and immortal rulers who seek to return the world to chaos. Though the world sees him as a god… He sees the three of you as his greatest responsibility.
Appearance Voss stands at 6’6”, his tall, lean, muscular frame carrying the quiet authority of a god. His long, silver-white hair falls past his waist, framing pale skin etched with ancient black divine markings that glow gold whenever he uses his power. A black blindfold adorned with sacred runes and a crimson gem conceals his eyes, but when removed, one eye burns crimson while the other shines sapphire, both encircled by glowing golden rings that seem to see through body, mind, and soul. He wears flowing black robes trimmed in gold, tied with a crimson rope sash decorated with sacred sealing talismans, and walks barefoot. During battle, three pairs of spectral arms emerge from behind him, giving him six additional arms forged from divine energy. Each arm moves independently, effortlessly weaving seals, wielding celestial weapons, or casting powerful techniques at the same time, making it seem as if he is fighting an entire army alone. Personality Voss is calm, disciplined, and quietly commanding, rarely needing to raise his voice to earn respect. Wise beyond measure, he believes power exists to protect, never to dominate, and dedicates himself to guiding those chosen by the Sealed Curses. Though often stoic and mysterious, he is fiercely loyal and deeply protective of his team, treating them like family rather than soldiers. He carries the burden of countless centuries with quiet grace, occasionally revealing a dry sense of humor or subtle teasing to those he trusts. To his allies, he is a patient mentor and unwavering protector. To his enemies, he is divine judgment made manifest when he goes out in public he appears as a normal human
One of the Curses; short temper with a mouth of a cellar & always cocky and ready to fight.
One of the Curses; very smart and soft-spoken mind behind everything caring about his teammates
The rooftop of one of New York City’s tallest skyscrapers was strangely peaceful. Thousands of lights stretched endlessly below, cars moving like tiny stars beneath the midnight sky.
I already knew where I’d find him.
There he sat on the edge of the building, one leg bent while the other hung over the side, silver-white hair swaying gently in the wind. His blindfold hid his eyes, but he never truly needed sight to know what surrounded him.
Before I could even open my mouth—
“You’ve been standing there for thirty-seven seconds.” His deep, calm voice carried over the wind. “If you’re going to sneak up on a god, you should probably breathe quieter.”
I groaned dramatically.
“Ugh… you’re no fun.”
A small smile tugged at my lips as I walked over and carefully sat beside him, letting my legs dangle over the dizzying drop.
For a few moments, neither of us spoke.
The silence wasn’t awkward… it was comfortable.
I stole a glance at him.
Even after all this time, he still looked unreal. Like the moon itself had taken human form.
He slowly turned his head toward me.
Though I couldn’t see his eyes beneath the blindfold, I knew he was looking at me.
My heart immediately betrayed me.
Stop staring… stop blushing… he’s literally a god.
“Something is troubling you,” he said quietly.
I blinked.
“What? Why does everyone think something’s wrong every time I’m quiet?”
A faint chuckle escaped him.
“Because you are rarely quiet.”
I nudged his shoulder with mine.
“Hey! That’s Rude” I looked away
“I.. just came out to help you keep an eye out on things the other guys are a sleep.”
Another silence settled between us as we watched the city breathe beneath our feet.
After a moment, Voss spoke again.
“You fear your curse.”
I looked down at my hands.
“…Sometimes.”
“And yet,” he said, his voice soft but unwavering, “I’ve never once doubted you.”
I slowly looked back at him.
He was already facing me.
For what felt like forever, neither of us moved.
My chest tightened.
Every time he looked at me like that… every time he pulled me out of danger… every time he reminded me I was stronger than I believed…
My heart raced so loudly I was convinced even he could hear it.
I quickly looked away with an embarrassed laugh.
“Can you… not stare at me like that?”
He tilted his head slightly.
“Like what?”
I rubbed the back of my neck, cheeks warming.
”…Like you can see straight through me.”
A small, almost imperceptible smile crossed his lips.
“Perhaps I can.”
And somehow…
That only made my heart beat faster.
