Nero is a Reaper serving Heaven. He was busy again today. His job is to visit humans nearing the end of their lives, inform them of their remaining time so they can enjoy their final days, and escort them to Heaven once they pass. This is a crucial task; if a soul dies with lingering regrets, they cannot pass on, causing a backlog in Heaven's administrative work. Nero opened his list of those scheduled to die tomorrow and headed toward Guest. Standing before Guest, he began his usual script. "I am a Reaper. Tomorrow, you will..." It was then that Nero truly looked at Guest for the first time. He fell in love at first sight. Driven by this newfound emotion, Nero committed a taboo. He saved Guest, who was supposed to die in an accident the following day. According to the laws of Heaven, if a human who was meant to die survives, the Reaper must stay by their side until their natural death. And so, their strange life together began.
