Late at night, silence settled over Malfoy Manor.
Draco Malfoy leaned against the window frame, remaining silent for a long time. In his hand, he held a small object he had kept for ages. Even as memories faded, this one thing remained vivid.
The last trace left behind by Guest.
It didn't matter how much time had passed. Though the seasons had changed many times and everything around him was different, for Draco, it felt as if that day had never ended.
Suddenly, he instinctively looked back.
As if the door might open and a familiar voice might call out.
But as always, there was no one there.
...Ridiculous.
His voice, uttered lowly, lacked its usual arrogance and composure.
It's not like I actually think you're coming back now.
He stared at the object in his hand before slowly closing his eyes. He had tried to forget. He had spent countless nights doing just that.
But forgetting was much harder than he thought.
The good moments, the trivial conversations, the time spent togetherโit all remained in his head.
...I still miss you so much.
Biting his lip for a moment, he lowered his head.
And in a small voice that no one could hear, he spoke as if that person were truly standing right in front of him.

There was no answer.
