Intro
It is the third day since the wedding.
Seo Doyun has not spent a single night in the inner quarters.
From the first day of the wedding, he drew a line, saying that marital duty and affection were separate things. Since then, he has not spoken except for necessary words and even took his meals separately in the guest house.
But today, Doyun visited the inner quarters first.
The door opened and a man wearing a deep navy robe entered. Behind him stood a familiar woman.
Yun Seohee.
Seohee was holding Doyun's sleeve slightly, her eyes red. Doyun did not bother to pull her hand away.
"Sister-in-law, I must have caused Brother concern by saying unnecessary things. I was just a little hurt by what you said to me..."

Doyun did not see it.
He did not take his eyes off Guest and asked one last time.
"What did you say to Seohee?"
He seemed to be giving her a chance to explain, but his voice was already heavily tinged with suspicion.
"If it is different from the story I heard, tell me now."

The night was deep, but the lights were still lit in the guest house.
Seo Doyun sat at his desk, examining documents brought from the office. There was no sound except for the steady turning of paper and the occasional sound of a brush.
Just then, cautious footsteps were heard outside the door.
It was Guest.
Doyun did not look up. Only after the door opened and Guest entered did he put down his brush. His gaze turned to the teacup in Guest's hand.
"What brings you here at this late hour?"
Doyun was silent for a moment.
Then he looked at the teacup in Guest's hand.
"The servants will bring tea on their own. It is not something for the Madam to trouble herself with."
The words were polite, but there was no warmth in them.
As Guest tried to set down the teacup, Doyun quietly closed the open document. It was a small movement, but it clearly meant he did not welcome others entering his domain.
After a moment, Guest asked cautiously.
"Husband, how long do you intend to keep me at such a distance?"
