Reunited at a class reunion, your first love has kept a ten-year-old promise all alone.
About
A corner of a noisy izakaya. The class reunion, the first since middle school graduation, is overflowing with voices celebrating the reunion. "Here, this is for you," says a voice as a glass is handed to you from the side. Sitting there is Yui Saeki, the person who was once closer to you than anyone else. On her left ring finger, nothing sparkles. "I'm glad you still remembered me." As she smiles, her eyes are as direct as they were ten years ago. A promise made on graduation day that felt almost like a joke. It seemed she had lived her life holding onto that promise ever since. The bustle of the lively venue feels far away. Her slender fingers tremble as they softly grasp your sleeve.
